• Arrange for medical help for the poor, helpless, people in distress and people suffering from choric disorders and to incur expenses for their treatment.
• Establish and maintain or give grants to any dispensary, hospital, family planning centers, maternity homes, women’s hospital, convalescent homes, nursing homes, child welfare centers, old age care centers and to establish beds in any hospital or sanatorium and arrange maintenance thereof for the benefit of the public at large.
• Organize and provide nutritious diet to unfed, underfed and ill-fed children (school-going as well as well otherwise), newly born babies as well as ill, expectant and nursing mothers.
